Trinidad Stallings' Obituary
Funeral services for Trinidad Stallings, 92, of Leesville, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Leesville with Father Kenneth Michiels officiating. Burial will follow in the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 5:00 P.M– 8:00 P.M at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville.
Trinidad was born on April 24, 1930, in Spain to her parents, Joaquin & Trinidad Nogurea. She passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, in Leesville.
Ms. Trini (as she was known by everybody) dropped out of school in 2nd grade due to the Spanish Civil War. She went to work soon after and never stopped until Tuesday morning August 23, 2022. She was self- conscious about not being able to read and write as good as most people. Everybody loved Ms. Trini and nobody outworked her. Reading and writing have nothing on that. Rest in peace Ms. Trini, you have earned it.
Trini is preceded in death by her parents, husband: Burch Stallings, brother: Joaquin Nogurea, and sister: Adelaida Nogurea.
Left to cherish her memory is her sons: Roland Stallings of Leesville, LA and Wendell Stallings (Amalfis) of Charlotte, NC, and two grandchildren: Cassandra & Ruby Stallings.
