Toni Leighe Pritchard's Obituary
Toni Leighe Pritchard of Leesville LA, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025, at age 70.
Her life was dedicated to education and to the service of others. Toni served her country in the United States Army as a Military Police officer. She also served in the Army Reserves. Toni earned her LPN degree from New Mexico State University in 1991. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Northwestern University. She received her Doctorate in Education at Walden University in 2010. Toni was a GREAT nurse and found her passion in ICU nursing care. She loved working with elderly patients and worked in several Long-Term Care facilities. Toni served her community as a Public Health Nurse at Ft. Polk, a Child Health Services Advocate and Sexual Assault Victim’s Advocate. Toni was a beloved nurse educator at SOWELA Technical Community College-Lamar Salter Campus.
Toni is survived by her sisters Anita Lynne Davis, Troy Layne Butler, Tropha Ann Wright and her brother Patrick Joseph Shea. Toni was the beloved aunt of Amanda Davis, Hillary Burson, Robbie Davis, Tyler Wright, Tripp Shea, Reagyn Shea, Elyse Burson, Liam Burson, Jackson Wright, Audra Wright, and Charley Davis.
Toni was preceded in death by her father Albion Carl Early, her mother Tropha Ann Shea, and her beloved husband and partner in crime Charlie Pritchard.
Services will be held on Friday November 14, 2025, at 1:30 at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery at 3348 University Park Way Leesville, LA.
