Toney L Ortiz's Obituary
Toney was born on March 19, 1957 in Germany and entered into rest on Thursday, February 7, 2019 in New Llano, LA. Toney was a loving man who would do anything for anybody. He loved working with flowers, especially his roses and enjoyed driving around in his Miata. Tony was an avid collector and a huge Betty Boop fan. He had a laugh that you could recognize from miles away and could always make everyone else laugh with him. Toney was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Ortiz and his brother, Mike Ortiz.
He is survived by his husband of 35 years, Tony Cozart of New Llano; his mother, Maria Ortiz of Leesville; his brother, Pedro Ortiz of Leesville; Two sisters, Wanda Thrash of Ft. Myers, Fl and Elisha Hickman of Alexandria, LA; his nephews, Ruben DeLuna, and Gavin Arabie; his niece, Jordan Gallion-Ortiz and his beloved pets, Coco and Chantel.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date.
