Tommy Perkins' Obituary
Funeral services for Thomas “Tommy” Perkins, 79, of Leesville will be held Saturday, April 8, 2017, at 2 pm at East Leesville Baptist Church in Leesville, with Rev. Jeff Smart and Rev. Sammy Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Prewitt’s Chapel Cemetery, Hornbeck. Under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2017, from 5 pm until 9 pm and then 9 am until service time Saturday, April 8th all at the church.
Tommy, the son of George Roy and Lucy Perkins, was born on October 30, 1937, in Leesville, he passed away at his residence in Anacoco, Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
Tommy worked for Prairie Construction as a Superintendent since 1976. Tommy was a member of the East Leesville Baptist Church of which he loved his church and church family. Tommy’s passion was the love for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years,Trudie Lenell Perkins of Anacoco; children, Keith Perkins & wife Sue of Haughton, Tracy Perkins & Jim Tuck of Leesville, Kelly Patrice Avery & husband Larry of Leesville and Terry Mattox & wife Genevieve of Anacoco; brother, Donnie Perkins & wife Linda of Leesville; sister, Georgia Kile & husband Glen Wade of Russellville, AR; grandchildren, Jason Davis, Robin Perkins, Brandy Ruiz, Josh Lowe (Whitney), Courtney Hippler (Chris), Sarah Lowe (Bubba), Lyndsey McElveen, Chelsea Perkins, Jordan Sellers (Jacob) & Alana Jones (Will) and twenty great-grandchildren.
