Tom Jordan's Obituary
Funeral services for Tom Jordan of Leesville, Louisiana, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville with Rev. George Jeane and Rev. Danny Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in Sycamore Cemetery in Burkeville, Texas under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm, Monday, March 14, 2011 at the funeral home.
Tom, the son of Thomas Alvin and Ellie Burr Jordan, was born November 25, 1944 in Jasper, Texas. He passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana.
Mr. Jordan was preceded in death by two sisters; Anniebell Copeland and Mary Bonner, four brothers; R.D. Jordan, J.B. Jordan, J.W. Jordan, and L.C. Jordan.
He is survived by four children, Mary Medley & husband Steve of Newton, Texas, Carol Hendrix & husband Scotty of Leesville, Thomas “Peanut” Jordan, Jr. & wife Erin of Leesville, and Loretta Jordan of Meadville, Mississippi; one sister, Juanita Stanley of Anacoco, Louisiana, and five grandchildren, Amanda Davis, Tyler Jordan, Megan Davis, Haleigh Myers, and Landon Jordan.
