Tod Russell JR.'s Obituary
Tod Russell, born June 11, 1990, passed away peacefully at his home on November 27, 2025, at the age of 35.
Tod was a devoted father to his beloved son, Tyson Tod Russell, who was the light of his life. He is survived by his parents, Linda and Tod Russell; his step-daughter, Brielle Reeves; his sister, Brandy Jordan, and her husband, Paul David Jordan III; and his nephews, Jacob Jordan and Jaxson Jordan, whom he loved like his own.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tom and Juiquetta Russell, and his maternal grandparents, Burl and Jeanette Reich.
Tod had a natural love for music and taught himself to play the guitar—a gift he shared often with friends and family. He was mechanically inclined and could fix anything with a motor. He enjoyed cooking and grilling, especially when his son Tyson was by his side.
Tod was known for his humor, his easy going spirit, and his ability to make anyone feel good about themselves. He was rarely serious, always the life of the gathering, and his bond with his nephews—especially Jacob—was something special. When Tyson was born, that circle of friendship only grew stronger, and together they created memories filled with laughter and love.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM and continuing until the time of service.
Tod will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, and his joyful spirit will continue to live on in his son, his family, and the many lives he touched.
