Funeral services for Timothy “Tim” Rich, 58, of Elizabeth, Louisiana, will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, May 69, 2009, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in DeRidder, LA, with Rev. Alfred Kennedy officiating. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M., Tuesday, May 5, 2009, and from 9 A.M. until time of the service, Wednesday, May 6, 2009, at Labby Memorial Funeral home in DeRidder. Private disposition of the remains will be at a later date.
Mr . Rich passed away Friday, May 1, 2009, in his residence. He was born in Lake Charles, LA, and had lived in New Orleans and Gillis, LA, before moving to Elizabeth nine years ago. He was a retired welder and refrigeration contractor and traveled to many various parts of the world. He was a member of Gillis Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Rich of Elizabeth, LA; daughter, Reba S. Rich of Linn, MO; sister, Naomi Trahan of Sulphur, LA; mother, Bertie Mae Rich of Sulphur; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
