Dr Griffin was the entire reason I became a physician. He was my pediatrician and my mentor. He was a great human being. He will be missed.
It's been a long time since I last saw Dr Griffin. He was the best doctor I have ever had and he took care of me long after I was too old for a pediatrician. He always made time to talk whenever I or anyone in my family had a problem. He was a truly special man and I am so deeply sorry for his family, friends, and patients that are feeling hi loss.
My deepest sympathy to the family. Doc was the man such a caring man. He took care of my grandson for years.
Sorry for the loss of Dr.Griffin. I use to clean their house and spend time with Mrs.Liz. I loved her dearly. Now his son Dr.Griffin is my doctor. This is such a sad occasion sending deepest sympathy to the family.
He was the best pediatrician this girl with grand male epilepsy could have ever asked for. He was a huge blessing with his reality checks, encouragement and overflowing love. I still remember when I was healed from my epilepsy and the EEG confirmed that, he celebrated with hugs to my parents and me and said, "their is no other way to explain it than it was a miracle from God." Then he cheered me on as I slowly weaned off my meds and dealt with those side effects. I was blessed to have him in my life.
I was saddened to learn of Tommy's passing. He was a true and good friend......one of the "good guys" ! We had many good times together during our high school years at Crowley High and were teammates on our football team graduating together with the class of 1963. One of my fondest memories of Tommy were our many "belly-laugh" sessions reciting the many memorized jokes of a popular comedidan of the time, Dave Gardner. My heart goes out to his wife and family in this time of sorrow. RIP Tommy.
