Therman L. Langton's Obituary
Funeral services for Therman L. Langton 91, of Florien, will be held Friday, April 14, 2017, at 2 pm at the Pisgah Baptist Church in Toro, with Bro. C.M. Kelly & Bro. Hoy Leach officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 13, 2017, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home and on Friday, April 14th, from 12 pm until time of service at the church.
Therman, the son of Hegimon and Tessie McNeely Langton was born on January 28, 1926, in Toro Louisiana. He passed away on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, in Many, Louisiana.
Mr. Langton was a World War II United States Army Veteran. He retired from the Post Office after twenty years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Sandell Langton; son, Roy H. Langton; brother, Fermon Langton and sister, Johnnie Langton Wilbert.
He is survived by his children, Patsy Langton Myers of Florien, LA, Fermon Pete Langton of Florien, LA and Don A. Langton of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Jennifer Myers Roberts, Christopher R. Langton, Kristi A. Smith, Paul A. Langton, Daniel B. Langton and Jacob D. Myers and 15 great-grandchildren.
