Sybille "Billie" Beckstrom's Obituary
Funeral services for Sybille “Billie” Beckstrom, 55, of Leesville will be Friday, May 2nd at 10:00 AM in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville, with Pastor Gary Archbold officiating. The burial will follow in the Castor Cemetery in Leesville. Friends may call Thursday, May 1st from 5 until 8 pm in the funeral home.
Billie passed away Monday, April 27th in the Woods haven Nursing Center in Pollock after lengthy illness.
She was born in Bad Hersfeld, Germany. She formerly worked at the fort Polk Commissary for 12 years and then medically retired in 2001. She was preceded in death by her father J. D. Jordan and her son Michael Galliano.
She is survived by her son, Anthony P Galliano of Houston, TX; daughter Amanda Beckstrom of Ft Drum, NY and current serving in Iraq; mother Margot Jordan of Leesville,; brothers Jimmy (wife, Cathy) Jordan of Leesville and Jay (wife, MiSong) Jordan of Rosepine; Sister, Vickie (husband, Joe) Green of Leesville; one grandchild; and a host of nephews and nieces
