Steven Bruce Talbert's Obituary
Bruce Talbert, 58, of Moss Bluff, Louisiana, passed from this life peacefully on May 21, 2011, after a brave battle with cancer.
Steven Bruce Talbert was born to Ruth and Lewis Talbert Jr. in DeRidder on Christmas Day in 1952. He loved hunting, fishing, and LSU. But above all, he loved his family.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Susan Moore Talbert of Moss Bluff; sons Steven Talbert of Moss Bluff and Greg Vidrine Jr of LakeCharles; daughters Ashley Rondeau of DeQuincy, Alicia Vidrine of LeBleu Settlement, and Shonna Settlemyer of Lake Charles.
Bruce was so proud of his 6 grandchildren whom he loved dearly: Téa, Griffin, Tyler, Raelee, Kyndal, and Julia.
Bruce was employed by Chicago Bridge and Iron in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday May 23, 2011, from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm at the Labby Funeral home in DeRidder, Louisiana.
Funeral service will be at Pine Grove Methodist Church in Pitkin, La. with Reverend Jaceson Johnson officiating. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2011, at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the Talbert Cemetery on the church grounds.
