Steven "Steve" Grant Moore's Obituary
Steven Grant Moore, known as Steve to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on January 6, 1953, he was the youngest child of Harry and Ingeborg Moore. Steve lived a life full of adventure — a true free spirit who never stopped seeking fun in every moment. He enjoyed underwater metal detecting, hunting, going to the gym, and playing cards with his buddies.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Harry Moore. He is survived by his mother, Ingeborg Moore; two older brothers, Dan Moore and wife Vicki, Harry Paul Moore; son, Chance McGlothlin and husband Ayman; nephews, Ryan Moore and wife Lindsey, Danny Moore and wife Jen, James Moore, Roger Kline; nieces, Stephanie Riley, Kasey Ware and husband O’Dell, Beth Lopez and husband Pablo, Brittany Nigh and husband Brandon; sister-in-law Sharon Legg Moore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Labby Memorial Funeral Home, 601 S 4th St, Leesville, LA on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
