Brenda, Travis, Bradley, Wesley, Mary, Anthony and Samuel: I was The Red Cross Manager at Fort Polk and a member of CBC Sep 1997 thru Feb 1999. I loved Pastor Shebs and thanked God frequently that he, CBC and his family were there as shining examples of true Christian love and fellowship. His preaching and individual counsel greatly helped me through some extremely difficult work-related issues. I am saddened to hear of the loss of Pastor Shebs. He truly was one of the greatest men I have ever known.
What a blessing Pastor Shebs & the folks at Cornerstone Baptist Church were to us as we would visit our children in Leesville. He will be missed. May the Lord comfort his wife & children, as well as his church family
