Stepheny, the daughter of Joe Lynn and Cathleen James Bolton, she was born on March 30, 1973 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, in Leesville, Louisiana.
Stepheny graduated from Simpson High School in 1991. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University and eventually studied interior design through New York Institute of Art and Design. She joined the United States Air Force in 1992 and proudly served our country for 4 years. She worked serval jobs as a secretary/receptionist throughout her life span. We would have to say that her biggest joy and love was being a mom and a homemaker. She was a dedicated mother, wife, and friend who loved her family with all she had. As we celebrate her departure from this earth let us reflect on the beautiful person she was and cling to the precious memories we have of her, never letting them fade from our memories. Her legacy will live on through her family, friends and especially her children. We rest in knowing she is now in no more pain and she is walking on streets of gold in heavenly places. Our family has peace in our hearts and spirits for we know that we can see her again one day. We encourage you to able to do the same and all it takes is knowing Jesus as you savior as she did.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Waugaman; son, Jace Waugaman both of Leesville; daughters, Jordon Bolton of Flushing, OH and Shayna Fowler of Pickerington, OH; parents, Joe Lynn and Cathleen Bolton of Slagle, LA; brothers, Walter and wife Regina Bolton, William Bolton all of Slagle, LA, Teddy and wife Karen Bolton of Lake Charles, LA and Jesse and wife Melaine Bolton of Alexandria, LA; sister, Lesa and husband Dale Miller of Anacoco; biological mother, Regina Hernandez of Leesville; half sister, Holly Dean Setliff of Mora, LA; special friends, Randy and Stacy White Colflesh of Leesville, LA and a host of nieces and nephews and friends whom she loved very much.
