Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held at Ott Lee Funeral Home, Brandon, Mississippi, Sunday February 27th at 2:00P.M. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, February 28, at 2:00p.m., at Welcome Cemetery, Simpson Louisiana with Rev. Steven Netherland officiating.
Stephen Johnson, Jr. 33, passed away in Rankin County, Mississippi Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Stephen was the owner of his own business, Stephen’s Tree Service. He had attended Hinds Community College. He was a devoted Son, brother, nephew and was loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Spurgeon, grandparents Rev. Clyde Netherland and Virginia Netherland.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Gary Spurgeon and wife Martha of Brandon, Mississippi; sisters, Lea Hurst and husband Tim of Pearl, MS.; Angela Peters and husband, Keith of Beach Creek, PA.; Uncle Steve Netherland and wife Shaunda; Aunt Carol Hillman and Husband Dale and, Aunt Becky Maloyed and husband Don all of Simpson, Louisiana. And a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
