Stephen Ray Alexander's Obituary
Funeral services for Stephen Ray Alexander, of Leesville, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Bro. Bill Blackmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Florien Cemetery in Florien.
Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2022 from 5:00 P.M– 9:00 P.M in the funeral home.
Stephen Ray Alexander was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to Noel and Kitty Alexander, he passed away at the age of 53 on November 16, 2022 surrounded by family.
To know Stephen was to love him, there wasn’t a room he walked in that didn’t instantly become brighter. Stephen served his time and community with the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s department as well as the Sundown volunteer fire department before becoming an IT engineer which led him to have several deployments overseas supporting our United States military. Stephen enjoyed spending time with his friends at Farm Equipment. One of his favorite pass times was sitting on his back porch listening to his music, and most of all spending his days loving his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Noel Ray Alexander and Kitty Alexander.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Connie, and his children David Alexander and wife Nikki of Merryville, LA, Tiffany Lay and husband Jacob of Leesville, LA, Joshua Alexander of Leesville, LA, Heather Alexander, and fiancé Jonah Lirette of Lake Charles, LA, his grandchildren Drake, Charleston, Charlotte, Slade, Annleigh, Jaxon, Ella, Drae, Jordie, Emmi Lou, siblings Debbie Mango of Vass, NC, Donna Hunt of Leesville, LA, Allen Alexander, of Leesville, LA, Tim Alexander of Leesville, LA, Kim Condon of Leesville, LA, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
