Stephanie J. Lewing's Obituary
Funeral services for Stephanie J. Lewing, 48, of Hornbeck will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Oak Grove Bible Baptist Church in Hornbeck with Rev. L. E. Robertson and Rev. Steve Lora officiating. The burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 3rd, until service time Thursday, in the church. Services are under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
Mrs. Lewing passed away on Monday, June 1, 2009 at her residence in Hornbeck, LA. She attended the Hornbeck United Pentecostal Church in Hornbeck and was a long time resident of Vernon Parish.
She was preceded in death by brother Tommy Horton.
She is survived by sons, Thomas “Chip” Lewing, Canaan Lewing, and Travis Lewing all of Anacoco, LA; daughters Angela (husband, Rodney) Smith of Elizabeth, LA and Amy McNeely of Oakdale, LA; parents Thomas Horton of Canyon Lake, TX and Verna Ford of Hornbeck, LA; brother John Horton of Vidor, TX; sister Melissa Horton of Hornbeck, LA and grandchildren Colton Smith, Ragan Smith and Courtney Lewing.
