Memorial services for Spero “Gus” Augustus George, Jr., 51, will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:30 AM, in the chapel of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
Spero Augustus George Jr. (Gus) had an adventurous life. He was loving, kind, supportive and always positive.
Spero Augustus George Jr. (Gus) was born December 29th, 1972, passed on April 18th, 2024. He was born in Kinder, LA. He was the 5th child, he had 4 sisters left to cherish the oldest is Frances Lee Coody of Merryville LA, Mary Jacquelyn George of Merryville LA, Belenda Jolene George of Montgomery City MO, and Virginia Ann Harris of Springfield Ohio. Spero Augustus George Jr. (Gus) preceded in death by his father Spero Augustus George Sr. and Mother Willie Jolene George. He had 3 nieces and 5 nephews,5 great nieces and 6 great nephews left to cherish.
Spero Augustus George Jr. lived in Dry Creek, Louisiana all of his childhood. Where he attended East Beauregard. Spero Augustus Geroge jr. in his final years he lived in Merryville LA.
Spero Augustus George Jr. was an amazing person with an infectious smile. Spero Augustus Geroge Jr. loved God, family, talking, video gaming and science. He was one of the most thoughtful caring people. He always saw the good in everyone; he wanted all to have joy, love and laughter in their lives. He was a peacekeeper. More than anything else Spero Augustus George Jr. was love. Spero Augustus George Jr. will be missed deeply, he cherished his family, he took nothing for granted. They say when you leave earth what will people remember about you? I believe people will remember the light Spero Augustus Geroge Jr. left on earth and the kind soul he was. Spero Augustus George Jr. is no longer with us on earth, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
