Private family services will be held for Sophie Schlicht Hill, 83, of Hornbeck. Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery in Carthage, Texas.
Sophie was born on June 7, 1938 in Lisberg, Germany to her parents, Johann & Eva Wirth Schlicht. She passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at her home in Hornbeck.
Sophie is preceded in death by her parents, and husband; John H. Hill.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Hill Ackel (John) of Natchitoches, LA., Susan Hill of Hornbeck, LA., son, Mark Hill of Dallas, TX., granddaughters, Hillary Ackel Bodden (Dillon) of Youngsville, LA., Madison Claire Ackel of New Orleans, LA., great grandsons, John Luke Bodden and Benjamin David Bodden.
