Sonya Joy Brister Terry, 65, of Anacoco, Louisiana entered eternal peace on Friday, November 21, 2025 in her residence. Sonya was born on August 3, 1960 in Leesville, Louisiana.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching football and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles.
She is survived By: Son - Louis and Yalonda Terry living in Leesville, LA; Daughter - Tiffani and Andrew Pate living in Fayetteville, NC; Grandchildren - Kacie Terry, Daniel Simmons, and Callan Terry living in Leesville, LA Haley Dalton and Amelia Pate living in Fayetteville, NC.
Preceded in Death By: Brother Jake Willard Brister, Mother Alberta Brister, Father Jake Brister and Grandson Sawyer Terry.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Labby Memorial Funeral in Leesville. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 1:00 P.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
