Siglinde Desoto's Obituary
Funeral services for Siglinde Desoto, 84, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville with Rev. Morris Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Leesville Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 18th from 5 pm - 8 pm, then Tuesday,
December 3rd and Wednesday, December 4th, from 8 am until service time in the chapel.
Siglinde, the daughter of Joseph and Ida Kitzko was born August 8, 1929, in Hamborge, Germany. She passed away Sunday, December 1st in Leesville.
Siglinde was teacher in for ten years and worked as an LPN at the Kurthwood Manor Nursing Home for 21 years. She loved to swim and garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, John C. Meeks, her daughter, Angela Ann Meeks and her granddaughter Sarah Ann Meeks.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years Lester Desoto of Anacoco; sons, Markus Meeks of Shreveport, LA and Alexander Meeks of Conroe, TX; daughters, Peggy Eastridge of Spring, TX and Renate Arrington of Rosepine, LA; 5 grandchildren and two great grandchildren
