Dearest Ricky,\r\n\r\nMy heart feels for you today and I wish I were there both for you and my father during this difficult time.\r\n\r\nI have many fond memories of your Dad, my Uncle Shorty--feeding the dogs at Nanny and Pa's farm, sitting on the porch with family just passing time and watching the trains, watching him clean the fish with Daddy and Uncle John after a long day fishing, stirring the trash pile, and so many more memories. I even remember your momma and him holding you as the tiniest of babies. My fondest memory is when he would look in my face and then look over at Daddy and say \"Doesn't she just look like her mama?\"\r\n\r\nI loved Uncle Shorty dearly and will always hold him in my thoughts with much affection.
