Shirley Boswell Straight's Obituary
“For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” II Corinthians 5:7-8 NKJV
Shirley Boswell Straight walked peacefully into the presence of her Savior on Friday, February 20, 2026. To all who knew her, she was a great blessing in their lives and a steady person of faith and love.
She always sought to see the best in everyone and in every situation. She was unashamed of sharing her faith in the Lord Jesus and was consistently someone you could count on to pray for you. Although small in stature, she was huge in her love for the Lord and for others, especially her family!
She was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. She loved to laugh and enjoyed the company of those who shared in her faith as well as those that she hoped to lead to that faith.
She loved being in the outdoors and tending to her yard as she was not afraid of work.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Patti Stell, granddaughter Chantel Geraci & her husband Brandon & their sons Kai, Kilian & Archer. Grandson Blake Mills.
