Shirley Louise Jarrell Goins' Obituary
Shirley Louise Jarrell Goins passed away in her daughter’s home at the age of 76 on December 13, 2021. Funeral services for Shirley, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in the Evans Congregational Methodist Church of Evans with Bro. Buddy Airhart & Bro. Daniel Jarrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Evans Cemetery in Evans.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 5:00 P.M until time of service in the church.
Shirley married the love of her life on October 17, 1964. They spent many amazing years together until he was called home on November 9, 2021. In February 1981, they welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their lives. Later down the road Kim blessed PawPaw and GranGran with 4 wonderful granddaughters. They loved to spoil those girls each and every day. Shirley loved to take those grandbabies shopping. When she wasn’t with her grandbabies, she enjoyed crocheting and watching Fox News.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Buddy Goins; her Mother Ella Smith Jarrell; her Father Thomas Uriah Jarrell; Sisters Eloise Jarrell Kanary, Ruthie Jarrell Knippers, Dorothy Jarrell Mitcham and Brothers Thomas Jarrell and William Jarrell.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Kimberly Lynn Goins Jeane and husband Nathan; 4 granddaughters Chloe, Daisy, Stormy and Autumn; Sister in law Jan Burns and husband Eugene; Special Friend Elaine Rivers; Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends who loved her dearly
The family would like to thank the doctors at Beauregard Memorial Hospital, Christus Cabrini and Byrd Regional for all the love and care they provided Shirley over the past few weeks.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Nathan Jeane, Melvin Jeane, Kenneth Simmons, Billy Benjamin, Grant Jeane, Grason Jeane, Colby Benjamin and Zane West
