Shirley Ann Adams' Obituary
Shirley Ann Adams, 90, passed away Friday, April 18th, 2025 at her home at Bundicks Lake with her family by her side. Shirley was born on February 7, 1935 in Selma, Louisiana.
Today we celebrate the life of one of God's beautiful creations. Shirley has reached her destination that she has prepared and dreamed of her entire life.
As she will be so truly missed, we will always remember and cherish her sweet, loving spirit that we were so blessed to have in our lives.
She served the Lord daily, teaching His word, and witnessing to others about His glory and salvation.
Shirley was a devoted wife for 64 years and cherished her family with all of her heart and was our prayer warrior. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.
Preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lore J. Adams; parents, Louie and Mattie Coaker; sister, Bernadine Lougee.
Shirley is survived by her three children: Stewart Lee Adams and wife Yvette of Walsenburg, Colorado, Sue Goodman and husband Danny of Conroe, Texas, and Sharon JoAnn Cooley and husband Rodney of Dry Creek, Louisiana. Her grandchildren: Lea Castello and husband Brett of Trinidad, Colorado, Katie Valdes and husband Josh of Walsenburg, Colorado, Jason Adams of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mandi Jo McFarland and husband Chad of Conroe, Texas, D’Janis Goodman-Rosen of Levi, Texas, Kasie Leigh Bertrand-Giles of Dry Creek, Louisiana, Chelsea DeNae Coleman of Dry Creek, Louisiana, Todd Cooley and wife Misty of Dry Creek, Louisiana, and Tiffany Cooley-Rhoe and husband Ihan of Stafford, Virginia. 25 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
