Shela R. Leidig's Obituary
Funeral services for Shela R. Leidig, 71, of DeRidder, Louisiana will be held at 10A.M., Friday August 15, 2008 in the First United Methodist Church in DeRidder with the Rev. Mike McLaurin and George L. Glass Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, La. Mrs. Leidig passed away Tuesday August 12, 2008 in Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder.
Mrs. Leidig was a native of Tupelo, MS and had lived in DeRidder since 1956. She was formerly employed as a certified CNA as a Private Duty Nurse. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Post 27 AUX and the Florien United Methodist Church.
Survivors are her husband Rev. Ray Leidig of DeRidder; two daughters, Nona "Sissie" Lambert and Sonya S. Lambert both of DeRidder; brother, Wayne Gambrell and wife Mary of Alvin, Tx; nephew, Mike Gambrell of DeRidder; step sons, Mark Leidig and wife Charlotte, and David Leidig of DeRidder; step-daughter, Donna Kay Kelly and husband Darrin of DeRidder; Four Grandchildren, Andy Hagood and wife Amy, Ada Landry and husband Kevin, Paula Felice and Matthew Felice; eleven great grandchildren; six nephews and four nieces.
Visitation will be held from 3P.M. until 9P.M. Thursday in the Funeral home and from 9A.M. until service time Friday in the Church.
