Sharon Bryant's Obituary
Funeral services for Sharon Bryant, 54, of Leesville, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville with Bro. Sandy Guynn officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 16, from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the Funeral Home.
Sharon was born on January 5, 1965 in Bay St. Louis, MS to her parents, Arthur and Marie Lizana Vance. She passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in the St. Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.
Sharon was a hard worker and very intelligent. She was a graduate of Leesville High School in 1983 and Northwestern State University in 1992 where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree of Science. During these years, she raised four children. She loved the Lord, to cook, and her family. Besides being a mom and grandmother, Sharon was a social worker and teacher for many years. She loved her dogs, “Toni” and “Peeka Boo”, birds, and anything nature related.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mr. Albert Claiborne Carver.
Left to cherish her memory are her Children: W.T. Bryant, Jr and wife Carrie of Lumberton, TX, Tomas Bryant and wife Ashley of Leesville, Sheri Bryant of Leesville, Jordan Vance and wife, Alycia of Leesville; Grandchildren: Ethan, Cade, Evan, Brooklyn, Aubrey, Chase, John; siblings: Ann (Dottienell) Butters of Bay St. Louis, MS, Linda (Darnell) Turner Carver of Stafford Springs, Conn, Dale Marie Carver of Houston, TX, Frances (Diane) Turner of Kirbyville, TX, Rayburn Charles (Chucky) Carver of Byhalia, MS, Joseph Patrick Peckitt of Sheperd, TX, William (Billy) Peckitt of Hornbeck, LA; Great Uncle: Morris Lizana of Bay St. Louis, MS; Great Aunt: Lynda Lizana Hudnall of Woodland, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
