Shane Louis Trahan's Obituary
Shane Louis Trahan went to be with the Lord on October 27th, 2024. He was brought into this world on August 25th, 1971 to mother Rita Daigle Racca Trahan. Shane Trahan, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and skilled electrician, passed away peacefully, joining his beloved wife Angie, who left this world just a month before him.
Shane was a simple, quiet man with a heart as vast as his love for family, spending his life surrounded by the people and things he cherished most. Known for his dedication and integrity in his work as an electrician, Shane’s calm demeanor and steadfast character left a lasting impression on everyone he worked with and served. Shane’s love for Angie was a timeless love story. They were true companions, inseparable for as long as anyone could remember. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and an unbreakable bond that only deepened over the years.
In their passing, they leave behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished forever by their family and friends. As a father, Shane’s quiet strength was felt by his children: His daughter Haley Wynette Lebleu and her husband, Johnny Lebleu; His son Anthony Scott Trahan and his wife, Hannah Trahan; and Brandon. He was a proud grandfather, his heart forever wrapped around his five grandchildren: Kaydence, Tristen, Emily, Ryvor, and Isaiah. He also left behind Dinah Bean, her husband Shawn Bean, and their two girls Sophia and Olivia, Courtney Racca, Annie Holmes, and Timothy Kircsh. To them, he was a steady presence and a gentle soul, sharing his love through small, thoughtful gestures and his gift for storytelling.
His family will always remember his steady guidance, quiet wisdom, and the way he showed his love without needing many words. To those who knew him, Shane was more than a friend; he was a calm and comforting presence. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, where he found peace and joy. Whether on a quiet lake or casting a line by the shore, Shane’s love for fishing mirrored the quiet, patient man he was. Those who shared these moments with him knew that, to Shane, fishing was about more than just catching fish—it was a time to be together and appreciate the beauty around them.
Though he is deeply missed, Shane’s spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he created. Now, as he rests by Angie’s side in the arms of eternity, we find comfort in knowing they are together once again, as they were always meant to be. Their love story lives on, inspiring all who knew them to love a little more deeply, walk a little more faithfully, and find beauty in every moment.
