Saylor Anthony Woodard's Obituary
A visitation for Saylor Anthony Woodard will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
Our big ole Boy Saylor Anthony Woodard came to us on March 11, 2020 in DeRidder, LA to Heather and Marc Woodard. Our sweet man became a beautiful heavenly angel on November 6, 2023 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Everyone that met or even seen this amazing boy couldn’t help but smile. His presence alone made everything so much brighter. He was always trying to make someone laugh. He was his mamas’ heart and joy and his daddy’s little Boop Boop. Everyday Saylor woke up with a vibrant smile ready to see what the day would bring. He was ready to tell everyone good morning. I had sweet dreams he would say. He would walk in the living room and say good morning MawMaw I’m right here.
He was always ready to play the big brother role and fuss at his RoRo as he called her when she was doing wrong. He loved to call Lacy his big sister from the other room just to irritate her. He would get so excited when his Aunt Nanda would come up so he could imitate her walk and asked for kisses to wipe them off. Saylor was always excited to see and ride in Uncle Allen’s big truck. He quite often wanted to go to either his Aunt Tasha’s and Uncle Wayne’s or Uncle Byron’s and Aunt Rebecca’s. He loved riding in Uncle Shorty’s red truck and telling him “Role Tide”. Our boy was always happy when his Uncle Todd and Aunt Brooke came to visit. He loved to sit with mommy and video call grandma all the way to Alaska.
In closing Saylor will always be mommies “Pumpkin” and daddy’s Boop Boop. We want everyone to remember the joy and happiness “MawMaw’s” boy brought to everyone.
Mommy and daddy love you our angel and will see you one day. “Not the Mama”
