We still miss Sandra and will forever have a hole in our hearts. We loved her very much.
I am truly sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is not an easy thing to go through, but just know that God is waiting to heal your broken hearts. (Psalms 147: 3)
So sorry for your loss. Mrs Underwood and I worked together at Hicks when she came out of retirement to teach kindergarten. My son Dalton loved her and she would still call every once in a while years after that and check on him. She was a wonderful woman.
Praying for you all during this difficult time. I enjoyed teaching with Sandra and also the quick visits after her retirement. She will be missed.

We have lost a part of our family that can never be replaced. Our hearts are broken but we know that she is in a better place. We wish peace and comfort to the family. We love you all, Bobby and Charlotte
May God bless and hold you extra close to his heart at this time of heartache when your needs are greatest. What a sweet and kind woman Mrs Underwood was. She will certainly be missed and grieved for by those she loved so much and by those she touched. To my extended family my heart aches for you. There is no greater loss than that of your mother. There are never any words of comfort that seem to work. Find comfort that her suffering has turned to the greatest salvation as she resides in the home of our Lord. Seek her sweet memory in your hearts and carry it on to the little people in your lives. Although they won't grow up getting to know her memories can be shared and the love she had for her family can be shared through you to them. I love you all and will pray mightily for your peace that will be long in coming.
Ivy Charles, on behalf of your LHS Class of 1956, please accept our sincere condolences to you and your family in the loss of your Loved One.
