Services for Sandra Kay Nelson, 67, of DeRidder will be at 12 noon, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at InterDenomination of Faith Church of the Living God, 1279 Pictken Rd Hwy 10. Officiating will be Bishop Thomas Urquhart,Pastor Josephine Urquhart and Minister Bradley Bowyer, Sr. Visitation will be on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 5-8 PM, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home, DeRidder, La. Interment will follow on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 1 PM, at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery. Mrs. Nelson was born on January 21, 1950 in Columbus, Georgia and entered into rest on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder. She was a member of IDF, and was known as the mother of the church. Her home was opened to everyone especially on Sundays when people would come and enjoy her cooking. Mrs. Nelson is survived by her husband, Ben Nelson of DeRidder, two sons, Terry Brown (Jennifer) of,Virginia and Minister Bradley Bowyer, Sr. (Rosyland) of California, two daughters, Kimberly Williams of DeRidder and Tamika Abrams Jones of Mississippi, grandchildren, Terry Brown, Jr., Zarria Brown, Marcus Foster, Bradley Bowyer, Jr., Brandon Bowyer, Brittany Bowyer, Terrika Brown, Michael Williams, Takika Abrams, Tyler Jones, Destiny Goodwin, Addison Goodwin, Jayden Spells, great grandchildren, Lamario Kanehailua, Jayden Brown, Cayden Brown and Kammie Abrams and Goddaughter, Kristle Spells (Ivan),of Texas.
