Funeral services for Sampson ”Sam” Matthew Haus, 39, of Evans, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013, at the Hearts United Church in Evans with Rev. Roger D. Jeane officiating. Burial will follow in the Eva Read Obituary

I never knew Sam and in reading his obit I can tell I missed meeting a very special person. I am great aunt to Sam. May he rest in peace and God put his loving arms around those he has left behind. He is gone but definitely not forgotten.

I didn't get the chance to meet Sam. His dad and my dad are brothers. I moved to Louisville, Ky area 10 years ago. I knew the family was close but I haven't been able to find them. I wish I could have had the chance to meet Sam before he moved or when he came home for a visit! His wife and kids and the rest of the family will be in my thoughts and prayers!
