Funeral services for Sammie Jack “Bubba” Swearengin, 67, of DeRidder will be held Monday, July 24, 2017, at 2 pm at First Baptist Church in DeRidder. Burial will follow in the Beauregard Cemetery, under the direction of Labby Memo Read Obituary

I am saddened to hear the news about Bubba's passing. I can still see him at the ballfield behind the Civic Center. I feel truly honored and blessed to have known Bubba and to have been an original member of Bubba's Bunch. He was an inspiration to all of us.
