Rudolph Ellis Jr. was born on July 10, 1958, to Rudolph Sr. and Jimmie Ellis in Richland County, South Carolina. “Rudy” as everyone called him, graduated from Leesville High School. He attended Grambling State University where he earned his degree.
Rudy lived a full and meaningful life as a free-spirited and creative individual. His classical training in singing was a testament to his dedication to the arts, and his ability to captivate audiences with his
performances was truly remarkable. He lived life with no regrets, seizing each moment and making the most of the time he had. As the life of the party, he brought joy and laughter to those around him and made every gathering a memorable experience. Rudy’s dedication to education and
his professional experiences working in chemical and government agencies illustrate his commitment to serving his community and making a difference in the world. Rudy’s passion, creativity, and commitment to making a positive impact on the world will be missed. His legacy will live on through the memories and stories of those whose lives he touched.
Rudy is preceded in death by his parents Rudolph & Jimmie Ellis.
Survived by 1 brother, Thomas Ellis of Westlake, OH, 4 sisters Betty Lewis of Leesville, LA; Doreen Howard of Missouri City, TX; Jacqueline Johnson of Bossier City, LA; Cathy Ellis of Phoenix, AZ and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
