Ruby "Eloise" Smart's Obituary
Funeral services for Ruby “Eloise” Smart, 72, of Many, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011, at the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Welch and Carl Evans officiating. The burial will follow in the Old Anacoco Cemetery in Leesville. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 6 pm - 9 pm, Thursday, September 1, 2011, and 8 am until service time in the funeral home Friday.
Ruby, the daughter of Andrew Rees and Eva Evelyn Crosby Smart was born on April 27, 1939, in Leesville, Louisiana. She passed away on Monday, August 29th at her residence in Many.
She was of the Baptist Faith and loved to sew and spend time with her family. Being an extremely outgoing person, she never met a stranger and was loved by all and will be dearly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived her fiancée Junior LeBouf of Many, LA; two sons, Laylon E. Brummett of Nashville, TN and Darrel L. (wife, Robin) Brummett of Fort Worth, TX; daughter, Vanita R. Brummett Strong (husband, Tim Allen) of Benton, LA; stepdaughter, Karen Michel of Belle Chasse, LA; brothers, Rees A. (wife, Ginger) Smart of Cleveland, TX, Dennis K. (wife, Tena) Smart of San Augustine, TX, Thomas Andrew (wife, Lydia) Smart of Florien, LA, Almon (wife, Barbara) Smart of Oakdale, LA and Frankie E. (wife, Juanita) Smart of Florien and Julian Lynn (wife, Brenda) Smart of Nashville, TN; sister, Helen June Smart (husband Clifford) Swain of Many, LA; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
