One thing I will always remember when y'all would come to mom and dad's is that she always loved to eat ice, wonderful memories. I am sorry but I will not be able to come, I am slowly recovering from kidney cancer. Sam, Rose, Carrie, & families, Mother, John and I are extremely saddened to hear of Ruby's passing. We all have so many fond memories with her (& Sam). But, good to know that she had such a long & full life and family that was always there for her. here. My own personal memory of your parents, is when Carrie and I went to Dallas for a shoe buying trip. They took us to a steak house and could not believe that I ordered fish. But, it was the cheapest thing on the menu and I was told not to take advantage of them! That was my one and only trip to Dallas and I will always cherish the memories. We miss all you guys and wish that we could make it to the service, but I am still working and Mom is not up to the trip. But, take comfort in knowing that you are all in our prayers. And, she will be with Sam & Johnny giving them heck! With all our love. Carrie, John & Claire
