Roy Behan, Sr.'s Obituary
Funeral services for Roy Behan, Sr., 65, of Florien, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2012, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pisgah Cemetery in Florien, LA, under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m., Thursday, August 9th, and then Friday, August 10th, from 9:00 am until service time in the funeral home.
Roy, the son of James Edward and Lessie May Owers Behan was born April 17, 1947, in Pineville, LA. He passed away Tuesday, August 7th, in Alexandria, LA.
Mr. Behan loved to camp and fish on the creek; he also loved to ride four wheelers, watching drag racing and loved to watch westerns movies especially John Wayne. He loved his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Lessie Behan and two brothers, Clarence Behan and Edgar Behan.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Behan of Florien, LA; sons, Roy & Elizabeth Behan, Jr., of Woodville, TX, Troy Behan of Florien, LA and Keith & Kerri Behan of Leesville, LA; daughters, Tammy & Chris Cook of Florien, LA, Cindy Thiels of Florien, LA and Windy & Timothy Cook of Florien, LA; brother, Louis Behan of Stonewall, LA; sister, Ann Anderson of Shreveport, LA and 11 grandchildren.
