I can just see her as she was when a majorette, yrs ago. Pretty sure that she took piano lessons from my mom for several yrs. Always a friendly smiling face, like her Dad.

My Sister Charlotte and I grew up with the Jouban family, George and Rose. Those were the "bestest" of times. Rose was a bridesmaid in my wedding and what fun we had. I have the best fun stories that we remember growing up. I will miss her.

I met Rose about 5years ago when she was a resident in Lake Charles. I fell in love with her the moment I met her and love her spirit still. She was so proud of her two children and grandchildren, and spoke of them most of our visits. She shared so much of her life growing up in DeRidder and I learned about a different time. Rose was a very proud woman and prayerful. She's reached the ultimate happiness in Heaven. I saw her about two months ago and she beamed as she spoke of the granddaughter who looks like her.
