Ronald Werner's Obituary
Ronald David Werner, 80, of Elkhart, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Leesville.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
He was Born on October 17,1941 and passed away on Thursday January 13, 2022 in Palestine, Tx.
He is Survived by his Daughters: Susan Werner, Joanne Werner, Teri Werner, and Tanya Frederickson and her husband Michael Frederickson; Three Grandchildren: Madison Gless, Mason McBroom, and Ethan Frederickson; And his beloved dog Major
He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Dorothy Werner; Wife: Antje Werner; Brother: Larry Werner
Ronald was a graduate of Leesville High, and served in the United States Coast Guard. He worked for a time in Law Enforcement, and was a member of The Shriners. He was an accomplished businessman which included owning a marina due to his passion for fishing before retiring to Elkhart, Texas.
He was an avid fisherman and had a great love for the outdoors. He was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back for anyone and never met a stranger. His smile and character spoke for themselves and was a man of God and family
