Ronald Richardson's Obituary
Ronald Glenn Richardson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on August 13, 1959 as the first son of Glen and Ann Richardson. He passed from this life into eternity on July 25, 2023 at the age of 63. Ronald was 1 of 3 boys and 2 girls. The hearts of his family is truly broken and changed forever. He will be missed more than words or emotions can ever express.
Ronald loved being a dad, a brother, an uncle and a grandpa. He took great pride in his kids, nieces, nephews and his grandkids. He was a friend to many. He cherished his lifelong friendships; he never met a stranger. Ronald was a simple and quiet man. He enjoyed spending his time with family, friends and most of all his animals. He was an avid farmer and hunter; he has had every kind of animal you could think of. He would spend countless hours outside just looking at his animals. It was some of his happiest memories.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Glen Richardson, his mother, Ann Barron, brother Sherman Richardson and his great grandchild Sawyer Erwin.
Those left to cherish his memory are: Barbara Despino, daughter Shelly Sturm (Ron); Sons Coddie Richardson (Jordan) and Brandon Richardson (Morgan). His grandkids Taylor Reese (Caleb), Baylee Richardson, Peyten Richardson, Aynnslea Richardson, Kimoni Sturm, Keenan Sturm, Bryston Richardson and great grand John Henry Reese. Ronald leaves behind 1 brother Doug Richardson (Marlene) and 2 sisters Debra Murray (Tony) and Charlotte Maxie and many cousins, nieces and nephews who will always remember their first horseback ride.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Wesley Farris, Johnny Merriman, Jake Merriman, Jeff Moore, Curry Richardson, Lynn Turnley, Rickey Robertson and White Speight.
In Ronald’s last days he found comfort being surrounded by his family. He knew God and had peace in knowing that Jesus was his savior. He had a great life with family and friends and enjoyed every minute of it.
Ronald’s family wishes to express their gratitude for prayers and love shown by so many.

Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me; thy rod and they staff the comfort me. Psalms 23:4
But I would not have you not to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18
