Ronald Dean Lauderback's Obituary
Ronald Dean Lauderback, 77, entered peacefully into rest on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at his home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Ronald was born on August 27, 1942, in Logan, Ohio.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019, Visitation will start at 9:00 AM and service will begin at 10:00 AM, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home chapel in DeRidder, LA with Rev. George Lee Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder, LA with full military honors.
Ronald joined the United States Army in 1960, serving during the Vietnam War and retired after 22 years of service as a CW3 on April 30, 1982. He loved traveling in a RV with his beloved wife, Connie and his delightful furry companion, Angel. Ronald (Grandpa) loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Connie J. Lauderback of DeRidder, LA; children, Natalie Ruano (Henry) of DeRidder, LA, Larry Lauderback (Vicki) of DeRidder, LA, Lori Slaydon of DeRidder, LA, Jeri Rathburn of Richland, MS; brother, Fred Staley (Peggy) of Myrtle Beach, SC; sister, Emma (Sis) McKibben of Amesville, OH; grandchildren, Chase Lambert, Shauna Lambert, Cody Lauderback, Dustin Lauderback, Leah Nicholson (Eric), Kara Slaydon, Laci Slaydon, Ryan Rathburn, Rachel Rathburn; great grandchildren, Adelynn Lambert, Harleigh Slaydon, Alyssa Nicholson, Bryce Nicholson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his loved ones, Walter (Peanut) Staley, father; Alma A. Staley, mother; Ronnie McKibben, brother-in-law, and Richard Rathburn, son-in-law.
