Ronald Paul Jett, a man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 52. Born on January 20, 1972, in Leesville, Louisiana, he leaves behind a legacy of love and hard work that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.
Ronald was the devoted fiancé of Deanna Rawls and the loving father of his son Taran Jett and wife (Estefania) of Chehalis, Washington, daughter Caslyn Farquhar of Anancoco, Louisiana, and stepsons Tyler Rawls and wife Baylee and Cole Ocon of Many, Louisiana. His family was his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His role as a grandfather to his grandchildren Case, Crew, and Ryker was a source of immense joy and pride. His brother Toney Jett, wife Kelsi, and beloved nieces and nephews Haley, Blayke, and Gavyn of Anacoco, Louisiana. His two sisters, Christy Troy of Tyler, Texas, and Stephanie Brannam of Florien, Louisiana.
Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Gary Jett, and his mother, Sandra Brogdon Jett.
Ronald was a man of many talents, a craftsman with wood, and a creator of beauty from simplicity. His quiet nature was balanced by his boundless kindness and generosity. His favorite phrase, "God Love It," was a testament to his unwavering faith and positive outlook on life, inspiring all who knew him.
Ronald's love for the outdoors reflected his adventurous spirit. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting various treasures. His three beloved dogs, Nina, Nova, and Sugar, were his faithful companions, with Nina being his constant shadow. His love for life's simple pleasures left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana.
The funeral will be on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville, Louisiana, under the direction of Bro. Wayne Chance and Labby Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Fort Hope Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana.
