Memorial services for Mr. Roger D. Taylor, 74, of Anacoco will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time Sunday in the Labby Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Leesville.
Mr. Taylor was born on May 27, 1946 in Anacoco and passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 at his home in Anacoco, surrounded by his family.
Roger was a native and lifelong resident of Anacoco. He served his country in the United States Army for three years. He retired after over 30 years with Bellsouth/AT&T in Leesville. He was a lifetime member of the Anacoco Lodge #147.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Marion & Armedia Marze Taylor; One Daughter: Sonja Goins; One Granddaughter: Autumn Goins; One Brother: Steven Taylor; One Sister Vadie Marshall.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years: Betty Taylor of Anacoco; One Son: Timothy Taylor (Lavonda) of Leesville; One Brother: Sidney Taylor (Connie) of Houma; One Sister: Laura Watson (Lenny) of Anacoco; Five Grandchildren: Erin Smart, Micah Taylor (Charlene), Alexander Taylor (Angie), Scott Taylor (Hailey), Cheyenne Taylor ( Fiancé Geoffrey Paul); Three Great Grandchildren: Autumn Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor and Brandon Taylor.
