Funeral services for Roger D. Simmons, Jr., 36, of Anacoco, Louisiana will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Labby Memorial Funeral Home in Leesville. Services are under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be held from 5 pm - 9 pm, Friday, July 15, 2011, and on Saturday, July 16, 2011, from 8 am until time of service at the funeral home.
Roger the son of Roger D. Simmons, Sr., and Elizabeth Payne, was born on January 15, 1975, in Fort Knox, Kentucky. He passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at his residence in Anacoco, LA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger K. Simmons, Faith Simmons, Lois Jeffrey & Richard Payne; great grandparents, Everette & Cordilia Payne and uncles, Tom Simmons and Terry Bostwick.
He is survived by his mother & stepfather, Elizabeth & Dennis Jeffrey of Anacoco; father & stepmother, Roger D. Simmons Sr. & Susan of Walthourville, GA; sister, Carrie Casey and fiancé David Fuller, Jr., of Ludowici, GA; brothers, Jason Simmons & wife Holly of Lake Charles & Joey Simmons of Walthourville, GA; grandmother, Geraldine Bostwick of Chillicothe, Ohio; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews & other relatives & special friends in Binghamton, NY.
