Robert Allen Stegman's Obituary
Robert Allen Stegman, 49 was born on November 4, 1975 at Fort Lewis, WA. The Army took his family from Washington State, to Alabama with one tour in Germany, and two at Fort Polk. The family celebrated their First Easter as Catholics in 1991 at Fort Polk and would later retire here. He passed away on March 15, 2025 in Alexandria, LA.
Robert’s life in the word of his loving family.
Robert told the family God told him not to date for 10 years-then he would meet his wife. He later married Regina they had 5 years together and was deeply in love. When Regina passed it crushed Robert, he never talked to anyone about this. Robert and Regina are together again.
He spent two years as an Atheist, cutting down everything the family believed in. Finally his loving parents told God to get him back whatever that entailed.
He spent 3-1/2 years in the psychic wards. He would scream at the top of his lungs and not stop. The ever changing psychic meds caused Frontal Lobe Dementia.
He came back to Jesus! Christmas of 2023 God completely healed him. He sent a Robert we did not know-loving and quickly obedient. He sent him so we could say goodbye. After 30 days he went back into dementia. He spent the last 9 months at Mercy Behavioral Hospital in LaCamp, LA.
As a family we are praising and thanking God for taking him early. Praise God He did.
Robert leaves behind his parents Robert and Linda Stegman; two sisters Linda Kay Stegman and Wanda Hart and two brothers Raymond Lloyd Stegman and David Parker.
