Robert Smith Martin, 50, of Singer, LA passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at his residence. Robert was born on Tuesday, March 17, 1964, in Pasadena, TX to Gene and Justine Bessie Benoit Martin.
He is survived by his wife, Bernadine Martin of Singer, LA; 2 sons, Luis Negroni & wife Sarah of Moss Bluff, LA and Jonathon Negroni and wife Santana of Alexandria, LA; 3 brothers, Vernon Dwight Benoit and wife Cheryl of Lake Arthur, LA, Gene Arthur Martin and wife Mary Elizabeth of Lake Charles, LA and Floyd Allen Martin and wife Renee’ of San Marcus, TX; 1 sister, Debbie Sue Speer and husband Mike of TX; mother, Justine Bessie Martin of Pasadena, TX; 8 grandchildren, James Edward Winn, Amalya Brook Negroni, Kristofer Scott Lovvirre, Alayjah Janae Negroni, Chanceler Alton Negroni, Josiah Enrique Negroni, Brittany Nicole Negroni and Morgan Alydia Negroni; 1 great grandchild, Tripption Fate Negroni. Robert is preceded in death by a wife, Debra Janise Martin and his father, Gene A Martin.
Visitation will be held at Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder, LA on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, 12 PM until 2PM. Burial following at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
