Funeral services for Robert "Bob" McCullough, Sr., 83, will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, November 24, 2009, in the First Baptist Church in DeRidder with Rev. Lindsey Burns and Rev. Doyle Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis Cemetery near DeRidder under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Mr. McCullough passed away in his residence in DeRidder Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009. Visitation will continue from 9 A.M. until time of the service Tuesday, November 24, 2004, in the church. Pallbearers will be Jacob Reichley, Jonathan Reichley, Glenn Senters, Jerry Noland, John Yerby, Jr., and Brent Rutherford. Mr. McCullough was a life long resident of DeRidder and a member of the First Baptist Church of DeRidder. He was a member and Past Master of Masonic Lodge #271 and Past Advisory Board member of DeRidder Assembly #20 IORG. He was a member of Gideon International and a veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during WWII. He was past owner and operator of DeRidder Locker Plant and retired from International Paper Company.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Pollard McCullough of DeRidder; son, Robert McCullough and wife Donna of DeRidder; step-son Rod Pollard and wife Martha of DeRidder; daughter, Janet Reichley and husband Glen of DeRidder; step-daughter, Julie Sauls and husband Marshall of Glen Rose, TX; brother, George McCullough of Beaumont, TX; four grandchildren, Patricia McCullough, Jacob Reichley, Jennifer Reichley and Jonathan Reichley; great grandson, Seth McCullough. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola Knutson McCullough, second wife, Margaret McWilliams McCullough. parents, George and Carrie Hallett McCullough, four sisters, one brother and an infant son.
