Robert James LaPoint's Obituary
Robert “Robbie” James LaPoint passed away on July 28, 2021 at the age of 50, in his home in Leesville, La due to an unexpected heart attack. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Robert came out a hero and stayed strong until the end.
Robert spent many of his days being a true sportsman. He was often seen catching fish doing yard work, or tinkering around with some of the many of his “toys”, whether that were a boat, car, motorcycle or, four wheeler. He enjoyed having cookouts outdoors with great music and his family and friends at his side. Robert never met a stranger, everyone who met him was soon to be a friend. Everyone that knew him knew that his pride and joy was his family and his motorcycle.
Robert is survived by his mother Mary Stover; his brother; Jimmy LaPoint; his four children, Dylan Noe, Katelyn Bedoya , Ashlyn LaPoint, and Chelsie LaPoint; His eight grandchildren, Elijah, Jackson, Samuel, Hazley, Alexis, Jada, Justin, Elliot and most recently Emelia; And his significant other, Christian LaPoint.
Robert will be honored in Canaan Baptist Church in Leesville, La, on August 07, 2021. Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. fellowship to follow
