Graveside services for Robert J. Hurtado, 94, of Jennings, LA, will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 3:00 PM, at Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder, LA.
Mr. Hurtado passed from this life on Sunday, September 29, 2013, at Southwest Louisiana Veterans Home, Jennings, LA.
Visitation begins Tuesday, October 1, 2013, 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Labby Memorial Funeral Home, DeRidder, LA.
Robert was born on July 30, 1919, in Atlantic City, NJ, to Florence Anders Hurtado and Joaquin Hurtado. He retired from the U.S. Civil Service and resided with his wife in the Bundicks Lake area for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Reba Campbell Hurtado.
Survivors include 1 son, Robert J. Hurtado, Jr. of Sulphur, LA; 2 grandchildren, Heather Mallet and husband Casey and Tanya Portinause and husband Frank; 6 great grandchildren, Webb Mallett, Dylan Champaigne, Haleigh Portinause, Austin Portinause, Kacie Douglas & Kali Comeaux.
