Robert served his country with honor in the United States Air Forces retiring in 2000. After retirement, he worked at various jobs at Fort Polk including working at Northrop Grumman as a supply tech. After retiring from Northrop Grumman he loved to travel and view the beauty of the country he served. He also loved going to see numerous music artists who were on tour. He did all of this with his partner in life Nanci Ciotola. When he wasn’t traveling or attending a touring musician, he could be found enjoying good meal at one of his many favorite restaurants or at home enjoying one of his favorite television programs like golf, baseball, numerous home remodeling or singing competitions. But out of all these things he did, his greatest love was his family especially his granddaughter Sahvanna. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Ryan L. Davis of Leesville, and Joshua P. Davis of Iowa, LA; life partner, Nanci L. Ciotola of Conyngham, PA; two granddaughters, Sahvanna Rose Davis of Leesville, and Rebecca Walker of Pickering, LA; two brothers, Dean B. Davis of Columbus, OH, and Glen A. Davis of Pottsville, PA; one sister, Robin L. Wolff and husband Phillip of West Hazleton, PA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his father, Adrian Davis; mother, Ruth Jones; wife, Elaine Davis.
